Accelerated solvent extraction (ASE) and pressurized solvent extraction (PSE)The new PSE technique (Pressurized Solvent Extraction or ASE Accelerated Solvent Extraction) reduces solvent consumption and increases the extraction speed while treating real samples in the clean up phase. The pressurized solvent at high temperature is pumped into an extraction vessel containing the sample matrix. The high temperature accelerates the extraction process by increasing the solubility of the analytes in the solvent and also increasing the kinetic rate of desorption of the same from the sample matrix. The fast PSE System is an automated system that processes six samples simultaneously, thus increasing by six times the sample throughput compared to the traditional accelerated sequential extraction systems. The New Microwave Systems SYNTHOS 3000 are also available for Organic Synthesis. |
